Vanessa Wegner Architect is a small architectural practice in Gladesville, established in 2003. Our office is on the land of the Wallumedegal People of the Eora Nation. Our philosophy is to understand the client's needs and lifestyle and combine this with an understanding of the site to create a design with an expression of light and ease of living. Connection to the natural landscape is a key factor in every design and an emphasis on natural materials and environmental sustainablility is applied to each project.

Vanessa Wegner is a registered architect and has had experience in a number of design based architectural firms before starting her own.

1993 - Bachelor of Architecture Degree from University of Sydney, NSW, Australia

1993 - 1995 - Graduate architect at Gazzard Sheldon Architecs (GSA), Sydney Australia.

1996 - 1998 - Design Architect at Andre Porebski and Associates, Sydney Australia. Designing large Eastern Suburbs residential houses and apartments and interior fit out for corporate headquarters.

1998 - 2000 - Design Architect at Mecanoo Architecten, Delft, The Netherlands. Interior design of the Cultural Centre and Theatre de Vest in Alkmaar. Masterplan of the University of Delft.

2000 - 2002 - Design Architect at Andre Porebski and Associates, Sydney Australia. Designing large Eastern Suburbs residential houses and apartments.
